Fans all over the world were left broken-hearted after Cube Entertainment announced the disbandment of South Korean girl group 4Minute due to the expiration of the contracts of some of the members. Now, the girls have expressed their gratitude through their personal social media accounts.

Jeon Jiyoon, the rapper of the group, has published a message of gratitude online, and she did it in a very special way--- in a handwritten note posted on her Instagram account.

“It’s already been seven years that I’ve been a part of 4Minute. I was really happy thanks to all of you,” Jeon wrote in the message posted on Saturday.

“I’m sorry that we weren’t able to finish beautifully, but I will repay everyone. Because I absolutely cannot forget. Please stay by our side for a long, long time, like the unchanging blue sky. I love you! Thank you very much!” the singer added.

Jeon’s band mates Nam Jihyun, and Kwon Sohyun have also thanked their fans via Instagram.

According to Soompi, Nam posted a selfie with the caption: “Seven years ago today. Those were exciting times. We were so young back then. Time sure flies fast. It’s a good day!”

Kwon, on the other hand, like Jeon, had posted a handwritten letter. In the letter, the singer noted that she felt "sad and apologetic” about what happened to her former band. However, she extended her gratitude to ‘4NIA’ (4Minute's fan club) for always being there to love and support the group throughout their seven-year career.

Founded on 2009, 4Minute is made up of five members; including Nam Jihyun, Heo Gayoon, Jeon Jiyoon, Kim Hyuna, and Kwon Sohyun.

Hyun-a is reportedly the only member of the group who has extended her contract with Cube Entertainment.
