South Korean actress Choi Kang Hee is now free from any contractual obligations with her agency Will Entertainment as her agreement with the company has expired.
The 39-year-old actress recently starred as Shin Eun-soo in the TV drama series Glamorous Temptation. She was previously signed with KeyEast but signed with Will Entertainment after her contract expired in 2014.
According to AllKpop, a statement released by a representative of the agency on Monday confirmed that Choi Kang Hee's contract has expired and that negotiations are still ongoing, and no agreement has been reached yet. It is still not clear if the actress has plans to renew her contract with Will Entertainment.
Kang Hee's contract expired early this month, and she is free to join other agencies or do freelance work. While the two sides are yet to agree on whether the contract will be renewed, the representative of the agency assured everyone that it will be decided soon, and an answer will be given in no time at all.
Choi Kang Hee is a South Korean actress who debuted in the year 1995 in the drama The New Generation Report: Adults Don't Know. She has starred in multiple films such as Whispering Corridors, The Happy Funeral Director, and Yellow Flower and is best known for her role in the hit movie My Scary Girl.
Kang Hee is also a Radio DJ on the radio station KBS Cool FM as well as an entrepreneur with her clothing line business.
She is a proponent of social awareness who is ready to help others. In 2006, The Korea National Red Cross gave her a Silver Medal Award in recognition of her consistency in giving blood donations.
