Hiromi Wada has been recently hounded by the media due to rumors that she is cheating on her husband with Hugo Wong. Despite previous denials, Hiromi has finally decided to come clean and speak up about the matter.
Earlier this month, the rumor started spreading that Hiromi is cheating on her husband Jason Lam with TVB actor Hugo Wong.
Hiromi had claimed that she is already separated and is in the process of divorcing her husband. However, on June 17, Jason released a video on Facebook saying that he was not aware of a divorce, and it was only when she told the media about it that he found out.
Hiromi is yet to comment on her husband's video. According to Ah Mike, she has been making excuses about being sick to avoid appearing at public events.
However, on Monday, June 20, Hiromi was finally seen in public filming a scene for the new TVB drama series, Mind Hunter. At least 30 reporters were present waiting on Hiromi.
Finally, she appeared before the media and addressed the issue. She revealed that a certain incident with her husband Jason was why she decided to move away. "I've already decided for a divorce. I don't want to provoke the other person so I don't know what to do," she disclosed.
Aside from the divorce, Hiromi also owned up to her relationship with Hugo, admitting that their friendship started in 2016. "I do feel sorry. I really don't want to affect anyone's livelihood," she said.
When asked what their relationship status is, she said "We are good friends.
Last week, Asian Pop News reported on the alleged affair, which Hiromi persistently denied. She explained that she and Hugo are simply friends and that photos of them being intimate are simply a result of good camera angles.
