Apink debuts in the Philippines During MTV Music Evolution

Korean pop group Apink performed on Friday at the MTV Music Evolution in Manila, Philippines. They also shared some news about their upcoming album.

It was announced in May that the K-pop band would be coming to the Philippines. The girls expressed excitement to play for their fan in the Manila alongside local and international performing artists like One Republic and JaDine.

During the event, Apink made a stunning debut in the Philippines; dancing and singing harmonically on stage. They communicated with their fans in English and thanked them for their continued support. The girls revealed that they are still in the process of preparing for the release of their next album.

Apink announced that they will release their new album before proceeding with a concert in Korea. They also said that their new album will feature more songs.

Apink is composed of Oh Ha-young, Park Cho-rong, Kim Nam-joo, Yoon Bo-mi, Son Na-eun and Jeong Eun-ji. The group made their first debut in 2011.

Apink's second album entitled Pink Memory was released in July 2015. The title track of the album - Remember - made it to the top of the Korean music hit chart days after it was released. The song also managed to hit the 13th spot on Top Twitter Tracks and was ranked 14th on the World Digital Songs.

Apink recently ended their North American Tour.
