Korean artists from SM Entertainment are participating in UNICEF's Imagine Project for 2016. Famous artists from different K-pop bands appeared in a video singing John Lennon's "Imagine."

The artists who are participating in the project include Choi Si-won from Super Junior, Changmin from TVXQ, Jay from TRAX, Baekhyun, and Chen from eXO as well as Lee Dong Woo. The female artists who joined include Minho from SHINee and Seohyun from Girls' Generation. They are now part of a global advocacy project supporting children's rights.

Choi has always been an active supporter of UNICEF. He was selected as one of the special representatives for the Korean Committee of UNICEF. His advocacy includes helping children who are victims of risk and calamity and AIDS prevention.

The United Nations Emergency Fund launched the #IMAGINE campaign in the year 2014 to draw the public's attention towards the challenges that some children face in different parts of the world.

The campaign was inspired by John Lennon's inspiring song "Imagine," thus it included a video of the song that features appearances by more than 100 celebrities, actors, singers and iconic figure in the media.

Other Korean celebrities from SM Entertainment are also known for their participation in different UNICEF projects. BoA and Lee Yeon Hee recently participated in the Louis Vuitton UNICEF Make a Promise Campaign. They modeled for the magazine to promote the brand's pendants and bracelets. For every sale, Louis Vuitton would give a $200 donation to UNICEF.
