'Jurassic World 2' updates: Director J.A Bayona to recreate horror elements of the original 'Jurrasic Park' trilogy; Terror T-rex returns with more vicious army-equipped dinosaurs

"Jurassic World" director J.A Bayona confirmed that he will be adding more horror elements to the second installment of the movie, in order to make it more similar to the original "Jurassic Park" trilogy.

"Jurassic World 2's" production team revealed that the sequel will be featuring dinosaurs equipped with weapons and body armor. If audience could recall the near end of the first movie, Dr. Wu flew off to save a storage of dinosaur embryos. This, according to the team, is part of his research to clone mini versions of the Indominus rex with the attempt to form an army of crime-fighting dinosaurs.

The original terror that fans should look out for in "Jurassic World 2" is the return of the T-rex. According to Headlines and Global News, the team wanted to bring back the dread and terror the children felt when the vicious animal first appeared in "Jurrasic World."

According Movie Pilot, Bayona is taking caution to make sure that there will be no leaks from the set. The production team wanted to ensure that details about "Jurassic World 2" are made through verbal communication, so as to avoid confidential breaches, as they did not want to spoil anything for the fans.

For reference, Bayona is well-known for his work in horror films, as he is behind the chilling films such as "The Orphanage" and "A Monster Calls." He also fashioned horrifying elements for two episodes of "Penny Dreadful" back in 2014. His expertise is anticipated to bring back the horror elements from the classic films to the new reboot.

The filming of "Jurassic World 2" is set to begin in 2017, while the target date of release is on December 2018.
