Wally West, played by Keiynan Lonsdale, is finally suiting up as the Kid Flash in the upcoming "The Flash" Season 3. Take note that Kid Flash will not be his superhero name, as the real name of his alter-ego is yet to be revealed. CW shared the first look of Lonsdale's superhero costume which is reminiscent of the costume in his comic counterpart.
Lonsdale suit in "The Flash" Season 3 features a melding color of red and yellow, seemingly like a combination of both Barry's suit and Reverse Flash. It resembles the comic version of Kid Flash but the major difference is his hood. In the comic version, Wally West wears a small mask under a pair of goggles.
Ever since Lonsdale's debut in the second season of "The Flash", there have already been speculations that he would also become a speedster in "The Flash" Season 3. When Barry lost his powers, Harrison Wells built the same particle accelerator hoping to recreate the same event that gave Barry his powers. Wally was affected during the explosion seemingly giving him the same speed. Speculations via Gizmodo suggest that Kid Flash might be saving the city in the absence of Barry in who rewrote the entire timeline. Then again, nothing is final yet.
Meanwhile, another speedster is set to make an appearance in the "The Flash" Season 3. Yahoo News reports that Jesse Wells, daughter of Earth 2 Harrison Wells, is speculated to become Jesse Quick.
It looks like fans will see a lot of speedster in the upcoming "The Flash" Season 3. The question now is, will Barry still be one of them?
