Reports are out that the £25 million commission of agent Mino Raiola in the impending world record £100 million Paul Pogba transfer is what's stalling the deal between Juventus and Manchester United.

Juve is refusing to pay the agent's £25 million broker fee "from the money they will get from United" for the sale of the French midfielder and has insisted that the Red Devils or Pogba himself should shoulder such charges, according to Sun Sport.

The report continued that "United and Raiola are happy for both clubs to pay" £12.5 million each to cover the agent's cut, but the Old Lady rejects the offer and maintains their stand of not giving away a single penny as they are the sellers.

Juve is allegedly "angry at the way Raiola conducted himself throughout negotiations" as the club's senior officials think that the 48-year-old Dutch football agent had "engineered this deal for his own gain".

Since the Italian Serie A champions are firm on their stand, the Red Devils may be forced to take on the whole £25 million in addition to the transfer fee if they really want to bring Pogba to the Old Trafford next season.

Meanwhile, ESPN reported that Raiola had cancelled Pogba's medical with the Red Devils on Tuesday as both clubs refused to give him the payment he wanted.

The agent, who also represents recent United signings Zlatan Ibrahimović and Henrikh Mkhitaryan, is said to be keen on pocketing his fee first before his client can move on with the transfer.

Pogba is scheduled to take a medical with Dr. Italo Linfante of the Miami Cardic and Vascular Institute prior to his move to the Old Trafford, but it was put on hold until "several small details of the deal" is ironed out.

The 23-year-old midfielder began his senior career with United in February 2011 after spending two years in the club's youth academy as well. However, he controversially joined Juve on a free transfer in the summer of 2012, prompting then United manager Sir Alex Ferguson to say that Pogba did not "show any respect at all".

Pogba has since won four Scudettos, two Coppa Italia titles, two Supercoppa Italia trophies, and had consistently competed in the UEFA Champions League with Juve, finishing as runners-up to Barcelona in 2014-2015.
