After four years of dating, the daughter of Macau tycoon Stanley Ho, Laurinda Ho confirmed her break up with Taiwanese singer Kenji Wu. The heiress announced her split through her Instagram account and her reasons for her split.
In her post, Ho indicated that the reason for the split is because of Wu's unfaithfulness, according to asiaone.
"I've promised myself this is the last time I'll cry over you. I won't hate," she wrote in her Instagram post. "I want to move forward, and not fixate on all the truths and falsehoods anymore,"
"Most importantly, I'll always remember the last impression you made on me in the moment we split," Ho continued. "It will remind me not to be foolish anymore. Maybe one day I'll thank you. Thank you for letting me learn how to love myself more."
Speculations that an alleged third party is involved and that the couple has long been having troubles with their relationship. In fact, Wu hid his relationship with Ho for many years and just confirmed his relationship with the heiress six months ago, which may indicate that Ho did not feel any sense of security, The Straits Times reported.
Reports about the couple's relationship indicate that the singer is a chauvinist who likes to be in control. They fight and split up, but he mostly wins her back.
However, after suspecting that Wu is seeing someone else, Ho decided to go to Hokkaido with friends. Wu followed her, in an effort to win her once again. This time, however, he failed. "Thanks for all these wonderful years, she really is a good girl," Wu said, confirming the split.
