Being rich, famous and handsome are not enough reasons to do crime and elude the impartial weighing scale of justice, Taiwan's 29-year-old playboy Justin Lee learned the hard way on Tuesday.

This, after Taiwan's High Court convicted him for drug-raping and illegally filming sex acts with at least 17 women, whose videos have been posted online and viewed millions of times.

The court sentenced Lee to 79 years and seven months in prison for the crime. That means he will be 108 years old when gets a new lease on freedom.

But no, Taiwan's local law states that Lee will only have to serve 30 years in prison, the longest length for a fixed-term imprisonment.

Still, that would mean he will be 59 year old when he sets out of jail, wrinkled, and probably too old to again have sex with women and film the act.

Lee is the heir of one of Taiwan's richest men, Lee Yue-chang. His father is the former board member of Yuanta Financial Holding, one of the largest financial organizations in the island.

Based on court records, Lee drugged women from nightclubs and other places and then brought them into his luxury apartment. He then had sex with them and recorded the acts without the women's consent.

Videos of Lee's illegal sexual activities were posted online and have been viewed millions of times by netizens.

Police raided Lee's apartment in 2012 and discovered the explicit videos on cellphone and computer. Lee was invited for an investigation but he refused to cooperate with authorities.

Lee was place on the wanted list and was on the run for 23 days. He surrendered to the police and has been placed under detention since then.

Aside from sending Lee to prison, the court also ordered him to pay his victims a total of 28 million New Taiwan dollars, or around US$ 93,000.

Lee's lawyer said the family of the 29-year-old playboy will file an appeal at the Supreme Court after finding the court ruling as unacceptable.
