Suicide Squad's Joker, Jared Leto, surprised host Jimmy Fallon with a terrifying gift as he swung by "The Tonight Show." The host opened a gift box containing a live snake in which he screamed in panic as it escaped into his desk.
Leto took his character seriously, as he was known for giving odd gifts to his co-stars while filming "Suicide Squad." Fallon was one of the lucky recipients of the Joker's gifts, which to his surprise, was more terrifying than odd. Yahoo News reported that the host screamed in panic as the live snake escaped into his desk during the Monday episode of "Tonight Show." Fortunately enough, Leto was able to wrangle the snake on time.
Leto also had a note for Fallon accompanying his gift. But even in handwriting, the actor took to heart his character because "The Tonight Show" host had a difficult time deciphering his message. The simple note read "Dear Sweet Jimmy, enjoy my snake. It's long and skinny and easy to take."
Apparently, "The Tonight Show" host isn't the only one who was given an animal for a gift. Leto gave Margot Robbie a live rat which she made her pet. Viola Davis, on the other hand, admitted that he wanted to hunt down the actor for giving her a dead pig.
Meanwhile, Leto and Fallon shared a fun night in "The Tonight Show" despite the actor's attempt to scare the host. Just Jared reported that the two faced off in a game of Pop Quiz where Leto ended up snuggling and kissing a cute puppy for winning the challenge.
