Izara Aishah: From TV Shows To The Big Screen

Malaysian actress and model Izara Aishah is moving from TV series to the silver screen with the movie "Sinaran," which signifies her step to stardom. Izara portrays the role of "Tina", a student who joined in a hip hop competition.

Actress Datuk Sheila Majid, songstress Lisa Surihani, Indonesian star Evan Sanders and Nadiah M Din are also part of the movie as reported in Malay Mail OnlineThe film is a Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia joint production.

Izara was born in Johor Malaysia and the eldest of three siblings. Her father is of Malay descent and her mother is from Pakistan, according to  Star 2.comShe started her career in 2011 and played roles in some of television dramas and films.

Her first television drama appearance was on "Keranamu Laila" and was succeeded by "Soffiya," Kasih Najihah," "Jejaka J," and "Vanilla Coklat" in 2011. "Balun," "KL Zombie," "Sejoli," and "Pilot Café" are among the movies where Izara is a cast.

The film "Sinaran" is about a popular Malaysian diva in the character of Shiela Majid, a college student that will learn about life and love in the face of challenges.

Recently, Izara was said to be shooting a kissing scene for "Sinaran" which she convincingly denied. "It was all sound effects and camera trick," Izara said during her interview with Media Hiburan. Furthermore, she hopes that the audience will understand the situation and won't punish her because she didn't really kiss Syarif.

"Sinaran" is already in cinemas across Malaysia.  The film was released on Nov. 26.
