Host and actress Anne Curtis recently visited Japan for an early Christmas treat for herself. Her photos on Instagram and Facebook showed her fun trip in the "Land of the Rising Sun."
She arrived at Kansai International Airport on Dec. 5 where she then posted, "Touchdown Japan." She then followed her trip by continuous updates for her fans and followers via social media.
The next day she posted pictures of her visit at Hotel Kazurabashi where she tried some authentic local dishes. She shared pictures of local specialities such as dekomawasi and ayo no shoyaki on Instagram. The Kazurabashi Bridge was featured by Curtis too, and she gave historical information about the bridge.
Curtis showed photos of her enjoying how to make Udon and Somen noodles. She stopped over at Manno Park and visited the Yamaroku Soy Sauce Brewery where she was asked to try a weird yet unique dessert - Soy Sauce and Ice cream. She did not miss to try the popular local comfort food called Hina Dori at the Fijumura Restaurant in Marugame Kagawa.
Her next stop was at Ritsurin Garden which she mentioned as "a sight to see." She tried the delicious "dango" - grilled sticky rice and found out that she loved the Cherry Blossom flavor. She shared her cold and fun adventure at Ehime where she visited the Kuma Ski Land.
She was amazed by some work of arts at Imabari Towel Museum Ichihiro. An intricately made satin weave caught her eyes which she closely inspected. A ramen meal at Todai was shared by Curtis too.
In her last post on Facebook, Curtis wrote "And that's a wrap" which gave a signal to fans and followers that her Japan adventure was over. She mentioned that it was a lovely experience and that she will be back.
