Jessie J’s Music Wants to Enlighten the Mind of Young Fans

British singer- songwriter Jessica Ellen Cornish or better known as "Jessie J" wants her young fans to learn from her music that life has a happy ending. Speaking of which, most of her songs are from her experience.

"ALWAYS be strong. Life has a happy ending if you know how to look for it," said Jessie J when asked, as posted by Inquirer.net.

Currently, the pop star was said to be in Manila for Smart Telecommunications exclusive concert for the subscribers at Kia Theater, Araneta Center Cubao, Quezon City on Thursday.

The 26-year-old pop star was born and raised in London. Her career started at the age of 11 on stage in a musical play "Whistle Down the Wind."

Jessie started as a songwriter in the music industry. She wrote songs for Chris Brown and Miley Cirus.

Her first debut album is "Who You Are" which was released in 2011 and was based on her personal experience as a child. She believes that her song is a positive role model to young people.

Her second single album was released in 2011 with the title "Price Tag" featuring B. o. B which was written by her, Dr. Luke, Claude Kelly and B. o. B. debuted as number one in the UK Singles Chart and made multiplatinum worldwide.

Jessie's latest single "Flashlight" was used as the official soundtrack for the movie "Pitch Perfect 2." Her first single album song "Price Tag" was also used in the original film "Pitch Perfect" sang by Barden Bellas (Film's musical group), according to Song Facts.

Her life at BRIT School of Performing Arts as a musical theater student made her independent. She graduated at the said school in 2006 together with music prodigies like Adelle and Leona Lewis but with a different course.
