‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ Returns This Week; Fans Are All Excited

"Star Wars" will have its comeback this December. The latest installment is entitled "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" which will hit the cinemas on Dec. 17.

It seemed that in 2005, the "Star Wars" saga had ended but in 2012 Disney bought Lucasfilm for a price of $4.05 billion. Disney then announced that they will produce a whole new trilogy of "Star Wars" film, according to CINEMABLEND.

As reported on THE KOREA TIMES, the renowned JJ Abrams is the director of the movie. Abrams was also the one who directed "Star Trek" reboot films in 2009 and 2013.

The plot of the story is set 30 years after the Battle of Endor and the events portrayed in "Return of the Jedi." The film will once again feature the characters from the original trilogy such as Luke, Leia and Han.

The sequel of the movie will be released in 2017. And the last part of the new trilogy will be out in 2019. After a decade of waiting, fans are now foaming at the mouth with excitement and anticipation for the upcoming "Star Wars" new trilogy.
