Chelsea is still not finished with their current summer moves as the English Premier League giants are reportedly set to splurge £125 million more to acquire Everton's Romelu Lukaku and Napoli's Kalidou Koulibaly before the window closes at the end of the month.

The Blues had been linked to Lukaku and Koulibaly throughout the summer and negotiations seemed to be unfruitful between them and the two players' respective teams.

However, Caught Offside reported that new Chelsea manager Antonio Conte is still keen on snagging both Lukaku and Koulibaly for the recently-opened 2016-2017 Premier League season, but they would have to race against time to pull off such deals as the English summer transfer window is due to close on Sep. 1, less than three weeks from now.

The report also noted that Conte wants to add 19-year-old Brazilian midfielder Thiago Maia to his targets late in this window, which pushes up their budget to an additional £140 million to close the summer.

Maia is said to be eyed by Conte for the future of the squad while Lukaku and Koulibaly will most likely be "key men" this term for the former Italy national team head coach.

The 23-year-old Lukaku is one of the most prolific goalscorers in England at the moment. He scored 25 goals in 46 appearances in all competitions for the Toffees last season.

The Belgian is entering his fourth season with Everton this term and had appeared in a total of 127 games for the Merseyside squad during his previous three-year stint, scoring 61 goals in the process.

Meanwhile, the 25-year- old Koulibaly is also seen as an up-and-coming player at his center back position in Europe. He has been with Napoli since the summer of 2014 and had played a total of 81 games in all competitions, scoring once mainly as a central defender.

Standing at 6-foot-5, the French-born Senegalese is an intimidating presence on defense and Conte wants to have him as a part of his planned three-player backfield at the Stamford Bridge.

The Daily Express indicated that Everton had recently turned down Chelsea's £42 million bid for Lukaku while Napoli is asking £50 million for Koulibaly, which would equal the current world record transfer for a defender when Paris Saint-Germain bought David Luiz from the Blues in 2014.
