Exes Mark Chao and Janine Chang encountered a really awkward moment recently when they had to attend a press conference for the upcoming movie "Black & White: The Dawn of Justice" on Wednesday.
The two could not avoid running into each other as they both play roles in the said movie. They did not say a word to each other and behaved in a really awkward manner throughout the press conference.
It was the first time the two saw each other again after Mark registered his marriage with actress Gao YuanYuan last June.
Mark, who gained fame for portraying the role of Hero in the "Black & White" movies, dished out during the press conference his secret to maintaining his good looks. He says removing the make-up well and completely does the trick.
He also spoke of his alleged weight gain, saying it was actually just swelling from lack of sleep. He added that despite his busy schedule, he remains happy.
His relationship with Gao Yuanyuan was also a topic during the press event. He said he does not get to see her as often, but they do communicate with each other via text messaging and phone calls, and try to see each other whenever their schedules permit.
They have yet to celebrate and throw a banquet for their wedding, and Mark said the celebration would most likely be pushed back since they have a lot on their plates. He was quick to add that he and his wife will find time and will tell everyone about it. He jokingly added that the event is open to everyone who was present in the press conference.
Janine, who dated Chao for a year, gave her well-wishes and expressed that she is not looking to get married anytime soon. She said it was too early for her to get married and would attend her ex's wedding banquet if her tight schedule would allow it
"Black & White: The Dawn of Justice", the second of the "Black & White" series, will be released October 9.
