Lead actor Jamie Dornan reveals and admits that he will miss his co-star Dakota Johnson, cast, and crew as filming for both the second installment "Fifty Shades Darker" and the concluding film "Fifty Shades Freed" have ended. He calls the people on the production team as family.
Dornan opened up in an interview that he will surely miss filming with his friends from "Fifty Shades Darker" and "Fifty Shades Freed." He is sad that he will no longer see them as the production ended. He plays the role of wealthy Christian Grey from the widely popular EL James erotic book series for nearly two years.
Dornan also misses Johnson, in particular, for she has been his leading lady of the whole "Fifty Shades" franchise since day 1. Johnson is part of the group of friends Dornan is referring to. She plays Anastasia Steele or Ana who finds Grey attractive as well as intimidating. She just recently nominated as "10 Best Dressed: Week of August 22, 2016," as Vogue reported.
Dornan was reportedly joined by his wife Amelia Warner on the beach scenes of "Fifty Shades Freed" on July 12 in Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, France. He was working with Johnson on a honeymoon scene. Warner joined them in the water for a swim at a certain point.
The "Fifty Shades Darker" trailer is expected anytime as the film is scheduled to be released in cinemas on Feb. 10, 2017. The third installment "Fifty Shades Freed" follows a year later on Feb. 9, 2018.
According to Daily Mail, Dornan is currently working on another project "The Fall: Series 3" which is due to hit screens in the UK and Ireland later on this year. He plays the role of a malevolent serial killer Paul Spector who is a married father who attacks young professional women in Belfast. Together with him, Gillian Anderson plays as Metropolitan Police Superintendent Stella Gibson.
