"Mortal Kombat X" beta version has been released on PC. The game feature more characters when the official version of the game has been released.

Boon made the announcement on Twitter where he also made updates regarding the progress of the project, Game Rant reported. He went to conduct a poll asking fans if they wanted to see the game in PC back in July where about 48 percent of the poll participants answered in the affirmative.

Shortly after the poll, Boon posted a link for the beta version of the game on PC. "Mortal Kombat XL" Enhanced Online Beta can now be played for free. Unfortunately, the "Kombat Pack 2" will not be coming to PC anytime soon according to a NetherRealm spokesperson.

Along with the release of the PC version, Mortal Kombat X likewise launched console versions of the game. XL contains every character of DLC including Leatherface, Xenomorph, Bo' Rai Cho and Tri-borg. However, that is not the case for PC, Digital Trends reported.

The game was initially criticized due to technical problems that prompted the publisher to limit the release of DLC characters to Xbox One and PlayStation 4. As of now, the company promised to rectify the problems in the near future.

"Mortal Kombat XL" is now available on PS4 and Xbox One. The online PC beta version will be upgraded to a full release on a later date.
