"Supernatural" has plotted a heavy Castiel (Misha Collins) episode in Season 12. In other developments, the CW has released the official sneak peek images for the season opener airing on October.
Fans of Castiel will get a treat in "Supernatural" Season 12. Entertainment Weekly reported that the supernatural crime drama has plotted a Castiel-centric episode which will tackle his past and his journey. Executive producer Andrew Dabb revealed that viewers will see the aforementioned arc unfold in episode 12.
"We're using Castiel in stand-alone episodes in a way that he hasn't been used in a long time," Dabb told the publication.
"That's very heavily about Castiel and the journey he's been on, some things from his past that we're not aware of are getting brought to light."
