Gong Hyo Jin and Lee Jin Wook Split

Famous Korean drama couple, Gong Hyo Jin and Lee Jin Wook have split up.

The couple, ended their relationship only three months after they made it public.

Soop Entertainment, Gong Hyo Jin's agency, was the one that confirmed the pair recently broke up. Though no details were released to protect the actors' privacy, a representative of the agency said that the ex-couple's busy schedules prevented the two from meeting up and seeing each other.

Lee Jin Wook's agency, Will Entertainment, said that they two decided they were better friends than lovers. The split was an amicable one, and the two have decided to remain friends.

While the two actors never confirmed how long their relationship ran, photographic evidence and sightings of them together give the public an approximate of a year, probably longer.

The first time they were seen together was in Seoul, during Fashion Week, in March 2013. Since both of them are fashion lovers, the two may have bonded over that.

The two were also spot in New York City last fall when they attended a Korean Film Night. The two onl confirmed their relationship when photos of them on a date surfaced in May 2014.

Before their relationship with each other, the two were in public relationships with fellow actors.

Gong Hyo Jin formerly dated Ryu Seung Bum whom she met on the set of "Wonderful Days". They broke up in 2003, but became a couple once again in 2008. They broke up for the last time in 2012.

Lee Jin Wook dated his former "Air City" co-star Choi Jin Woo for three years before they broke up in 2011. It was then that he swore he would never make any of his future relationships public.

Gong Hyo Jin's television drama series "It's Okay It's Love" just wrapped up recently. In the show, she plays a psychiatrist who is in love with one of her patients.

Meanwhile, Lee Jin Wook is still working on his role as the Crown Prince Sohyeon in "The Three Musketeers".
