‘Bajirao Mastani’ Star Deepika Padukone To Star In ‘xXx’ Sequel With Vin Diesel, Nina Dobrev And Ruby Rose

"Bajirao Mastani" star and "Om Shanti Om" fame Deepika Padukone is all ready to win over Hollywood with her charm and acting skills. Ranveer Singh's girlfriend Padukone's recent meeting with Vin Diesel has resulted in fruitful results and she will be seen sharing screen space with Vin Diesel in "xXx" sequel.

"xXx: The Return of Xander Cage" is the third movie in "xXx" franchise starring Diesel as Xander Cage. Apart from Diesel's role as Xander Cage, only Samuel L. Jackson's role is revealed as Agent Augustus Eugene Gibbons. It is still under wraps as to what role Deepika Padukone, Nina Dobrev, Ruby Rose and, other actors would play.

Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone posted a picture of her with Vin Diesel in early December 2015 and generated a lot of speculations. Some even thought that she would star in "Fast and Furious 8." But resting all the rumors, Times of India confirms that Padukone and Vin Diesel will start shooting in Dominican Republic as stated by director DJ Caruso.

Padukone even revealed that she has signed no new films for 2016 and is looking to work in a different atmosphere. There is no official confirmation from Deepika Padukone about starring in any Hollywood film.

Vin Diesel is also known to serve as producer for "xXx: The Return of Xander Cage." According to official IMDb page of "xXx: The Return of Xander Cage," after refusing "Furious 7" due to scheduling issues, Deepika PAdukone is all set to debut in Hollywood with Vin Diesel in "xXx: The Return of Xander Cage."

"xXx: The Return of Xander Cage" is slated to release in 2017 and will be directed by DJ Caruso.

 The film will be showing Xander Cage returning to action after a near-death accident. He will b working on a new deadly assignment with Agent Gibbons. The movie will serve as sequel to "xXx," which was a huge commercial success and, "xXx: State of the Union," which failed miserably at box-office.

"xXx," which starred Vin Diesel in lead was made with a budget of $70 million and after receiving mixed reviews from audience and critics, it accumulated around $277 million. Its 2005 sequel, "xXx: State of the Union" had to move on without Diesel and was made with a budget of $113 million but failed at box-office with gaining only $71 million.
