NBA 2016-17 season is just around the corner and it is time again to plot predictions and assumptions. So here is a glimpse of trio candidates for 2017 All-Star games DeAndre Jordan, Kemba Walker and Gordon Hayward.

Disregarding the scoring stats, a super rebounder can be a part of the NBA All-Star games too. DeAndre Jordan is already in the All-NBA First Team this year so there is good chance of him landing in the All-Stars. Jordan's season-high 24 rebounds in 2015-16 is not an easy task to accomplish, much more that it is coupled with 18 points.

Jordan sports an average of 12.7 points, 13.8 rebounds and 1.2 assists in 77 games last season, according to Basketball Reference. The 28 year-old Los Angeles Clippers rim defender is also 2-time All-Defensive team member.

Now here is a super scorer, Charlotte Hornets' Kemba Walker boasts 20.9 points per game with 4.4 rebounds and 5.2 assists per NBA player file. Walker also beats Glen Rice's almost two-decade record in Charlotte of 48 points by setting another franchise-high 52 points in Jan 2016 against Utah Jazz.

Walker's 5-year stint with the Hornets yields another record of hitting at least 500 off the long-distance arc. He only trails behind the team's all-time leading scorer Dell Curry and Rice in three-points made.

Utah Jazz star Gordon Hayward is another good candidate for the NBA All-Star. His ESPN stats pegs at 19.7 points per game with 5 rebounds and 3.7 assists in the 2015-16 season. Although breaching the 20-point mark is a common place in the league nowadays, clutch play is another story. He can sink an impressive 47 percent from the three-point arc.

Another skill that Hayward boasts is the ability to guard agile scorers of the opposing team. He is able to subjugate Kobe Bryant into 6-of-18 shooting and 7 turnovers in 2011.
