Bollywood icon and mega star Amitabh Bachchan, 73, who recently sustained injuries while filming his current movie "TE3N" in Kolkata, re-assured fans that he is recovering well and will contiune with his shooting schedule.
The star of "Wazir" tweeted an update on his official Twitter page that he damaged a rib which will take time to heal. Bachchan kept fans informed as soon as the result from a CT scan were made available to him.
"Ok on the rib front...just back from CT Scan, rib is damaged...will take time to heal, all else well," Bachchan said in the post.
According to a report in the Times Of India the Bollywood star has already returned to Kolkata to resume shooting of 'TE3N" which is directed by Ribhu Dasgupta and produced by Sujoy Ghosh. The film also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Vidya Balan.
The tumble by Bachchan on set is not a first for the star who suffered a near fatal incident during the shooting of a scene for the film "Coolie" by Manmohan Desai in 1982.
Meanwhile, according to reports the actor was close to being mobbed when he landed in Kolkata following his "Star Screen Award" win for "Best Actor" for his role in the film "Piku."
While the legendary actor's latest release '"Wazir" is getting immense applause and rave reviews from his fans and critiques, Bachchan surprised fans by using the VoxWebb app to promote the film in which he plays a wheel chair bound chess master who joins hands with a police officer in a bid to seek retribution.

">post on his official Facebook page made mention of a "Speaking Poster" - calling it Voxie - to promote his film. Fans upon tapping the photo, hear Bachchan's recorded voice note which plays online.
The actor known as "Big B" in the industry is a widely followed social media figure and the post went viral within minutes with it receiving more than 10,000 likes within an hour, the Indian Express reported.
The "Sholay" actor is not the only Bollywood star to try out the app to entice and engage fans -more recently "Quantico" star Priyanka Chopra took to the VoxWebb app as well, to thank her fans for supporting her recent "People's Choice Award" win in Los Angeles.
