The untitled movie "Wolverine 3" is all set to complete its production, with Hugh Jackman reprising the lead role while Mister Sinister is confirmed as a villain.
Many rumors have been bubbling up about the movie, wherein some say that the next instalment might follow the Old Man Logan storyline, who is already in his later years and dealing with new challenges relative to his advanced age.
According to ScreenRant, there are other speculations like X-23 Logan's successor will be introduced. It is also been told that Jackman might plan to make "Wolverine 3" his last X-Men movie. As per Old Man Logan-related comics, he shows up in the Old Man Logan-Secret Wars series for the X-Men to fight, attacking them with Abyss and Sabertooth.
Jackman also pops up in the post-Secret Wars Extraordinary X-Men run, where Mister Sinister kidnaps some X-Men. However, his role has not been revealed by the film makers.
The movie maker Bryan Singer confirmed that Sinister will play the main villain in "Wolverine 3." The mysterious post-credit scene for "X-Men: Apocalypse" delivered a clip that revealed "Essex Corp" making sure that the villain Sinister is on his way.
Kinberg and Singer revealed that the villain will appear in "Wolverine 3," Cinema Blend reported.
There is no confirmation on who could probably play the role of Sinister among the cast of the film. However, there are a number of choices for who could be playing the villain in the film including Boyd Holbrook, Richard E. Grant or Stephen Merchant. The Reavers and Weapon X group would be the primary villains for the movie.
However, Fox has not yet confirmed who will play Sinister in "Wolverine 3," although there are many rumors. "Wolverine 3" might provide a proper ending to the saga and Jackman's legacy as Logan.
