After six short films featuring other BTS members, Jin is finally starring in the seventh episode of the series "WINGS." The episode is titled "Awake," another mysterious entry in the series.
On Sept. 13, the short film for BTS's Jin was released at midnight KST, a day after the birthday of BTS's Rap Monster. The video shows some number of motifs and symbols which we can connect to the series previous six short film videos.
Jin is the final member to feature in their "WINGS" project and fans will surely spot connections between the new short films as well as with BTS's previous releases and the novel "Demian" by Hermann Hesse. However, it is yet to be confirmed whether "Awake" will be the final video for the series.
BTS will be making a comeback soon with their second full album "WINGS," and for the past week the group have been releasing inscrutable short films featuring each member, Soompi reported. The first short film video to be released was Jungkook's "Begin," followed by Jimin's "Lie," V's "Stigma," Suga's "First Love," Rap Monster's "Reflection," and J-Hope's "Mama," respectively.
In the video, Jin appears to be empty and desolated as he wanders around the room as if searching for something. As he gazes with all feelings of despair and restlessness, Jin's acting is quite impressive. In the second half of the video, his voice sounds sweetly.
On Sept. 7, during the "Apple" event unveiling the long-awaited new smart phone model, iPhone 7, "Apple" showed a screen of various albums. During the portion about iTunes, BTS's "HwaYangYeonHwa: Young Forever" was spotted on the top left corner, AllKpop reported. Being the only K-Pop album on the screen, fans have become more proud being a part of their fandom.
BTS also known as "Bangtan Boys" is a seven member Korean boy band formed by Big Hit Entertainment. The band debuted on 2013 with their song "No More Dream," from their first album "2 Cool 4 Skool."
