"Fifty Shades of Grey" star Jamie Dornan has finally quit the social media due to continuous abuse by social media followers for his recent erotic flick. Fans trashed his social media page due to his role of Christian Grey in the movie.
Dornan recently spoke to Irish Daily Mirror, where he admitted of getting abused online on his social media accounts, Instagram and Twitter. He further revealed that such degraded amount of comments was the reason he chose to withdraw from social media, as it was getting too intense for him.
The 34-year-old actor rose to fame after modeling and consequently by coveting role of Grey in the erotic drama series "Fifty Shades." He is reportedly happy that he has completed two more sequels of the movie.
Dornan further talked about his reason for quitting social media and said that people tend to become more horrible to you as they grow more interest in you. He further added that people then start to say disgusting things about family members as well.
He said that people take too much liberty and even start saying things about kids and so, he thinks that there is no point of engagement on social media. According to him, his stardom does not have a massive effect on his personal life.
The actor, who is known to lead a quiet life with his wife Amelia and two daughters, is pretty much a devoted, homely man. Talking about his new movies from the erotic trilogy, he said that it is satisfying to put an end to something that he has done back to back.
According to UPI, Dornan is relieved that the trilogy is over now. He said that the role of Christian Grey required a lot of energy and it was difficult to perform. Dornan agrees that shooting last two parts of trilogy simultaneously was right thing to do.
Recently the second part of the franchise has released its trailer and fans are going crazy over Dornan and his co-star Dakota Johnson. Fans are eagerly waiting for movie to release in February 2017.
