The lead actor Jamie Dornan admits to quitting as Christian Grey in "Fifty Shades" franchise ahead of the potential fourth film. Fans are worried that he might eventually quit his iconic role.
Dornan opens up about his ongoing acting career as the iconic Christian Grey for "Fifty Shades Darker" as it is starting to define him as an actor. To recall, he replaced Charlie Hunnam for "Fifty Shades of Grey." Then, he went through mockery and ridicule for his role. He explained that he is basically doing the role for the paycheck and nothing more.
According to People Magazine, a representative from Dornan's team said that the 32-year-old actor is delighted that "Fifty Shades of Grey" was breaking box-office records, grossing $571 million worldwide. Dornan is still looking forward to making the next film.
The "Fifty Shades Darker" trailer teaser has just recently been released by Universal Pictures accompanied with a poster, as Variety reported. It teases an intriguing proposal and invites the viewers to slip into something a shade darker. The poster displays Christian putting a mask on Anastasia (Dakota Johnson).
Newly-single Anastasia still desires for the mysterious, young billionaire Christian in the "Fifty Shades Darker" of the popular franchise. The pair rekindles their romance after Christian suggests a new arrangement, which is soon clouded by shadowy figures from his past.

The highly-anticipated sequel "Fifty Shades Darker" is directed by "House of Cards" director James Fooley and hits theaters on Feb. 10, 2017. The next installment "Fifty Shades Freed" will also be directed by Fooley and is scheduled to release on Feb. 9, 2018.
