Lee Jong Suk surprised his fans when he secretly joined a charity project organized for his birthday on Sept. 14. Fans were stoked when they saw Lee's name on the list of donors for the charity project intended to pay for children with cancer.
According to Drama Fever, fans donate 9,140 won each for the charity project. These figures intend to represent Lee's birth date or 9/14. When the "W-Two Worlds" star learned about the charity project, he secretly deposited 9.14 million won to the fan-made bank account created for the good cause.
YG Entertainment later confirmed the donation was personally made by Lee, who is now known as the "Giving Angel." With this act of kindness, more fans are admiring to this actor for his good looks, talents and good heart.
In return, blessings continue to pour Lee's way as his recent drama "W-Two Worlds" successfully concluded on his birthday. Prior to the finale, the actor had the chance to talk with his supporters about the drama.
"Filming for "W" finished yesterday [Sept. 11]. Thank you for giving a lot of love to "W" during this hot summer," Lee told his fans as per Soompi. The actor added filming for "W-Two Worlds" was difficult as compared to his previous projects; however, he added that all the hardwork was worth it in the end.
"This show was harder than other dramas, but it was also a worthwhile work that was new for me personally. I think this drama will be the starting point for things to change a lot," Lee said.
The "W-Two Worlds" actor also teased his fans about his upcoming project which he said will start rolling next month.
