Simon Cowell signed a new three-year contract with ITV for his shows "The X Factor" and "Britain's Got Talent" that will air until 2019. ITV announced the wonderful news on Friday, Sept. 16.

The deal with FremantleMedia UK and Syco Entertainment continues the long-established relationship with personage Simon Cowell for another three years. This agreement will finally abolish rumors that "The X Factor" will be canceled because of poor ratings, according to C21 Media.

"The X Factor" was launched in 2004 and is already in its 13th season. According to ITV, the singing contest has an average of 10 million viewers at this time which is considerably higher compared to any episode fulfilled last year. During its pinnacle, the show has drawn in up to 20 million viewers.

As for the "Britain's Got Talent", the talent show will come back in spring 2017 for its 11th series. It is the most-watched entertainment program of ITV with almost 10 million viewers, Business Insider reported.

"They are defining shows for us, ones that we are very proud to have as part of our entertainment slate, and they continue year after year, for months at a time, to be amongst the most popular and hugely entertaining formats on television," said ITV director of entertainment Kevin Lygo.

Simon is very glad pleased for ITV's fabulous partnership. He is also pleased for the show especially for all the talented people who workon it with them.

Actually, the contract comes in at the same when the UK's Channel 4 seize the rights to ratings demolishing "The Great British Bake Off" after BBC obsolete the show because of price disagreements. It is rumored that ITV was in the search but discussions died down when the showrunner Love Productions cannot promise to keep its major talent.

"The X Factor" 13th series will be judged by Nicole Scherzinger, Sharon Osbourne, Louis Walsh, and of course the one and only Simon Cowell with the show starting next autumn.
