Booboo Stewart, 21, recently starred in the action film "Lowlifes." The actor and professional stuntman, who is of Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Scottish, Russian and Blackfoot ancestry, starred with Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart in "The Twilight Saga" films from 2010 and 2012.
Released on Jan. 2, "Lowlifes" was written and directed by Robin Christian. The story revolves around troubled teens who are in a second-chance boot camp program. They are stuck in a remote area with no contact to the outside world when they encounter terrorists trying to take out a rural nuclear power plant and they are the only ones who can stop the threat.
Among Booboo's "Lowlifes" co-stars are "The Obama Effect" actress Giselle Bonilla and "That's So Raven" alum Kyle Massey. Art Bonilla, Mark Derwin, Quinton Aaron, Christopher Judge, Eric Steelman, Tyler Steelman, Madelyn Deutch, William Atherton, Julian Alcaraz, David Aranovich, Eric A. Bell and Hong Kong Chinese actor Tzi Ma are also in the cast.
Prior to "Lowlifes," Booboo starred in several box office hits, such as "The Twilight Saga" films. He also starred in the most recent "X-Men" film.
In 2010, Booboo played Seth in "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse." The film also starred "Pitch Perfect" star Anna Kendrick, who is recently being linked to Katy Perry's former boyfriend, DJ Diplo, Toronto Sun has learned.
In 2011, Booboo reprised his role as Seth in "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn- Part 1." Among his co-stars in the sequel is "The Ridiculous 6" actor Taylor Lautner, who reunited with Kristen on Dec. 29, 2015 at The Nice Guy in West Hollywood, California, TMZ reported.
In 2012, Booboo reunited with Pattinson, Kristen and Lautner in "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn- Part 2." During the ending credits of the sequel, Bryce Dallas Howard, Edi Gathegi, Rachelle Lefevre, Jodelle Ferland and other actors from the previous installments made cameos.
In 2014, Booboo played Warpath in "X-Men: Days of Future Past." He co-starred with Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, Jennifer Lawrence as Mystique, Halle Berry as Storm, James McAvoy as Charles Xavier, Michael Fassbender as Erik Lehnsherr, Nicholas Hoult as Beast, Anna Paquin as Rogue, Ellen Page as Kitty Pryde and "Game of Thrones" actor as Dr. Bolivar Trask, among others.
