The DC Extended Universe has really visualized the comics into the big screen for viewers, both fans and newcomers of the comics. Despite some negative feedback in the past, the DCEU still pursues in putting the awesome stories of the comics into cinemas. This could be said from actor Henry Cavill's manager when he mentioned the sequel to 2013's "Man of Steel" is already in the making.

Newsweek did a cover of this during an interview with Dany Garcia, the actor's representative, when he revealed the big project. Garcia mentioned that Cavill has been very busy trying to expand the world with filming (for "Justice League") and "acquiring property" for his production company Promethean. Recently, the actor is now set for another Superman film. Cavill's manager believes that the actor has been highly motivated to eventually build up a lot for industry and the fans, especially for DC Extended Universe.

There hasn't been on the "Man of Steel" sequel until much recently since movie studio Warner Bros. have been currently putting their entire efforts and time on the upcoming "Justice League" film. Although, it was still reported that the movie studio would still push for another "Man of Steel" in order to get the character "right" for both comic book fans and newcomers alike.

Of course, what would a superhero-themed epic movie be without a super villain? Some have theorized that one of Superman's mortal enemies, Braniac, would step up to challenge the Kyptonian hero in the upcoming sequel.

Cinema Blend suggests that the concept of the sequel might revolve around the Kryptonian codex from the first film. The codex contains all genetic blueprint and relevant information of every Kryptonian. It is also possible the codex may possessed by another Kryptonian that survived the destruction of Krypton.

So far there hasn't been any information on release dates on when "Man of Steel 2" will be released. Other than "Justice League," which will be released on 2017, other projects of theirs in queue would be "Wonder Woman" (to be also released 2017) and "The Flash," and "Aquaman" movies to be released on 2018 among others.
