South Korean artists Bomi of the girl group A Pink and actor Choi Tae Joon were confirmed as the new reel couple in MBC’s hit reality show “We Got Married.” This announcement was revealed by the program’s producers on Sept. 22.
The show’s representatives revealed that Bomi and Choi have had their “first, heart-fluttering” encounter on Sept. 21. Furthermore, the pair has already started filming their first episode.
“Please look forward to Choi Tae Joon and Bomi, who have gotten closer to viewers through various programs recently, interacting. We ask for a lot of interest and support,” Soompi quoted the producers as saying.
Meanwhile, Bomi has recently been invited to be the guest of the TV show “My Little Television”. During the program, the singer showed off her taekwondo skills and has likewise revealed some of the things she had given up just to reach her dreams of becoming an idol.
"I started [learning] Taekwondo at the age of five. Then I gave it up to become a singer," All Kpop quoted Bomi as saying.
Bomi started her career in the entertainment industry after joining the girl group A Pink in 2011 under the management of Plan A Entertainment (formerly A Cube Entertainment). Joining her in the band are Park Cho Rong, Jung Eun Ji, Son Na Eun, and Kim Nam Joo
Choi, on the other hand, is best known for his roles in TV drama series like “Padam Padam... The Sound of His and Her Heartbeats” and “Piano”. In 2013, he won the Best New Actor in MBC Drama Awards for his exceptional work in the drama “Mother's Garden”.
