"The Big Bang Theory" Season 9 is set to air Episode 13 on Thursday, Jan. 14, 2016 on CBS. In Episode 12 "The Sales Call Sublimation," Penny and Leonard meet Dr. Gallo, a psychiatrist. Meanwhile, Amy is away at a conference and Sheldon spends time with Raj where they discover an asteroid. Things take an unexpected turn when the time comes to give a name to their discovery. Sheldon wants to name it Amy, but Raj won't agree until Sheldon promises to name his children Rajesh.
Moving on to Episode 13 "The Empathy Optimization." According to Spoiler TV's description of the upcoming segment, Sheldon is sick and this takes a toll on the entire gang including, Penny (Kaley Cuoco), Leonard (Johnny Galecki), Howard (Simon Helberg), Emily (Laura Spencer), Bernadette (Melissa Rauch) and Raj (Kunnal Nayyar).
It is said that the gang is so annoyed with Sheldon that they wish to spend time away from Sheldon. At the same time, Sheldon experiences a moment of realization. He decides to apologize to each one of his friend personally.
According to Hollywood Hills, Sheldon is in a "personal apology tour" in Episode 13 of "The Big Bang Theory" Season 9. A promo video for "The Empathy Optimization" teases what Sheldon has to say to his friends as he apologizes to them. Sheldon can be seen apologizing to his friends even at the most inappropriate time. Sheldon walks in on Penny in shower and present Bernadette and Wolowitz a t-shirt that reads "Sheldon Cooper Apologized to Me."
Further, the website reveals that the gang heads to Las Vegas to enjoy a Sheldon-free weekend. Back at home, Sheldon learns an important lesson about being empathetic.
