Apple's latest version of MacBook Pro has been reported to be unveiled next month. According to an analyst, the company is set to release the device in two forms: a 13.3-inch and 15.4-inch following their production in the second quarter of 2016.
Rhoda Alexander, a Director for Tablet and Notebook PCS at IHS Markit Technology recently revealed her projection to Forbes about the latest upgrade of the MacBrook Pro. Based on her predictions, it seems safe to assume that the recent speculations about the anticipated laptop are likely true. Specifically, Alexander backed up earlier reports that the Cupertino-based company will launch the device next month.
As to whether Apple will use Intel's Kaby Lake or Skylake processor, Alexander cited that the company is more likely to include the latter due to the timing of production. Apple, for their part, declined to comment about the matter.
In early August, a source told Bloomberg that the new MacBook Pro has been redesigned to appear thinner with an enhanced, flatter keyboard. The report also claimed that the new keyboard will get an OLED display on its upper portion, a new feature being referred to at Apple as a "Dynamic Function Row."
Other predicted new features on the MacBook Pro 2016 also include the addition of USB-C ports and Touch ID fingerprint identity sensors. They are both likely to appear next to the keyboard's new OLED display.
Earlier this month, Apple unveiled the highly-anticipated iPhone 7, but received critically mixed reviews over the company's decision to obliterate the device's headphone jack.
