"Last Week Tonight with John Oliver" recently returned and it didn't waste any time tackling the most popular topic in USA: the presidential elections. More specifically, comedian-host John Oliver sheds light on the scandals each candidate has to answer and what they are really in reality.

The host started discussing the scandals that surround Hillary Clinton. According to USA Today, Oliver talked in length about the scandals the democratic presidential nominee has to face: the private server emails, the Benghazi and even the Clinton Foundation with regards to the donation they received.

The scandals where Clinton was tied up did not have any direct accusations towards her. The private server emails were frowned upon but there were no reason for filing a legal case against her, the Clinton Foundation scandal did not even have her as part of the team that made the dubious decision. Oliver surmises that the more people look at these scandals, the less they would see.

On the other hand, the scandals that surround Donald Trump were massive to say the list. The host went on to name some of the few scandals Trump was associated with. First and foremost was the refusal to release his tax returns simply because he is currently being audited. Another is the scandal the surrounds Trump Foundation especially on a political donation to someone who contemplates in investigating Trump University.

Compared the two scandals, Oliver indicated that people should be concerned about Clinton's scandals but should be outraged about Trumps. The host ended his segment by comparing the problems posed by the two candidates: they are just raisins in a cookie no one like where Hilary is just like 10 raisins in a cookie while Trump would be raining cookies - which it did in Oliver's studio.

According to Collider, Oliver's segment was before the presidential debate which should shed light about the truth on the candidates' scandals. The show will be back next week and will most likely tackle the recently concluded presidential debate.
