Gaming communities are getting excited for the release of the much-awaited video games for the fall. Gaming consoles and devices are gearing up to welcome the arrival of the video games slated to launch this October.
Starting Oct. 7, "Mafia 3" will be available on Windows PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The game features Vietnam War veteran, Lincoln Clay who came home in an effort to start a new life and at the time, build his organized crime empire. "Mafia 3" will embark upon racial prejudice and identity as mentioned by the game director, Haden Blackman.
Another video game set to release on the same date is "Paper Mario: Color Splash" which will be available on Wii U. It will be the fifth installment of the happy-go-lucky action adventure Role Playing Game (RPG) series. Paper Mario will use Paint Hammer to re-paint Prism Island. The game integrates elements of platforming, solving puzzles, and turn-based combat, Polygon reported.
On Oct. 10, "100ft Robot Golf" will soon become available on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation VR. The game is a multiplayer experience allowing players to take control of the gargantuan robot as they go numerous city blocks into their individual golf course.
By Oct. 11, the "Gears of War 4" will become available on Windows PC and Xbox One while "Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration" will be accessible on PlayStation4.
Rez Infinite is not a game itself but a technology that improves games by adding more content and VR support. Tetsuya Mizuguchi and his company, Enhance Games added a new level called Area X which is in the process of experimenting. This is going to be available to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation VR on Oct. 13.
Likewise with Rez Infinite, "Shadow Warrior 2" will also be available on October 13 and is accessible on PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One.
"Battlefield 1" is an Electronics Arts (EA) beta that is extremely famous among gamers. The game will come across recreating combats from the First World War, but players are expected to try doing 360 no-scopes from a horse. The battle begins on PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One on October 21, according to iDigital Times.
"Dark Souls 3: Ashes of Ariandel" and "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" will be both available on PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One on Oct. 25. "Dark Souls 3: Ashes of Ariandel" costs $14.99 on its own but with a season pass including a second DLC pack, the cost will be $24.99.
"Titan Fall 2" will come to PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One on Oct. 28. It would be the second installment in the Titan Fall franchise highlighting six different Titans, single-player campaign, and leveling up of sounds.
Last but not the least is "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim" which will become available to PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One on the same date. The Mods will only be available to Xbox One gamers.
Whatever the gamers' preferences are, there sure are games that will become available on their gaming consoles and devices just in time for fall.
