The action open-word RPG is developed by Guerilla Games and was first shown in E3 2015, and now additional footage has surfaced to showcase more of what players should expect.

According to Game Informer, like most role playing video games, "Horizon: Zero Dawn" will have exploration moments for those are not in much of rush to finish the story. As players explore the rich and vast world, they can also accomplish side quests and activities to add spice to the game.

In addition to that, while they continually to explore, player can find themselves in specific areas called Corruption Zones. Here, they can encounter much larger foes and more intense fights to gain a lot of experience and pave the way for easier hunting and traversing.

Players can also enjoy the perks of hunting and crafting in "Horizon: Zero Dawn." Even with the existence of mechanical monsters, there are also still living animals, flesh and blood, to hunt down for food and other resources. For the crafting part, players could meet the required number of certain resources to make stuff like a satchel, which increases inventory space. Speaking of the wild and strange mechanical beasts, they could be hunted for metal parts as well to upgrade the players' equipment such as weapons and armor.

Over a course of time, players can progress themselves with these tasks, which can make them ready for the game's lodges. They can encounter the representatives of these hunting lodges to be given more specific tasks and challenges such as killing certain animals with a certain weapon at a limited time. Once they have accomplished many of these tasks, players can climb the hunting hierarchy where more challenges and rewards await them.

In addition to the animals and robots, players can also encounter different human individuals from the various tribes that dot the world. Interacting with them will not only give you specific quests, but also share their numerous views and information about the game's world, according to Gamespot.

Earlier, it was mentioned that gamers will be donning the hunting gear as Aloy, a female protagonist in which Guerilla Games has been putting a lot of work into. Director Mathijs de Jonge has mentioned that "she's very curious and determined, and she wants to explore the world and figure out these mysteries."

"And hopefully we can give the player the same feeling," said de Jonge. "You want to know what's out there, you want to discover these new Machines, you want to meet the new tribes. That's how we've mostly designed her character."

"Horizon: Zero Dawn" is set for launch on the PS4 on Feb. 28, 2017.
