After making his relationship public last month, Jinwoon is finally free to talk about his romance with Wonder Girls' Yenny. The 2AM member in an interview even promised not to let their supporters down.
"I will do my best not to disappoint [the supporters]," Jinwoon said as per Allkpop. When asked what he meant about disappoint, the 2AM member added, "Like saying we have decided to remain close friends, or we parted ways due to personality differences."
Jinwoon and Yenny's relationship was confirmed by their respective agencies Mystic Entertainment and JYP Entertainment, Soompi reported. In a dispatch, the agencies revealed the 2AM and Wonder Girls members became close because of their love for music.
"The two who have music as the common denominator became lovers from friends in the beginning of 2014 and are still continuing their beautiful love even now with Jinwoon having moved to Mystic Entertainment," the agencies said.
JYP and Mystic added the two artists are supporting each other in their respective musical careers, adding that Jinwoon and Yenny's relationship as a "musician couple" is going stronger.
Jinwoon started out as a member of 2AM in 2008. Aside from his activities with the band, he also ventured as a solo artist in 2011. A year later, Jinwoon debuted as an actor on "Dream High 2."
On the other hand, Yenny debuted as a member of Wonder Girls in 2007. The singer-songwriter wrote a soundtrack for Jinwoon's "Dream High 2." Yenny also pursued a solo career in 2014 with the release of her first mini-album titled "Me?"
Jinwoon and Yenny's paths crossed when they were still under the same agency, JYP Entertainment. But despite changing his label, Jinwoon remained close to the Wonder Girls member.
