‘One Punch Man’ Season 2 spoilers: Saitama loses his power, battles Genos again, faces new set of enemies

After the smash success of its first season, "One Punch Man" is due to be back for its second season with new enemies, the return of Lord Boros, and the possibility of Saitama losing his powers.

It is reported by News Everyday that "One Punch Man" season two will be on air this September. But there are no confirmations from Madhouse, nor from creator Yusuke Murata about the anime's release date. Aside from the air date of the anime, many are only speculating about the plot and storyline of the new upcoming installment.

Sources confirmed that the second season will have a very different plot than that of the original storyline. Unlike the manga, the planned follow-up of the successful season one will most likely focus the story to Saitama. As a matter of fact, many reports are confirming that Saitama will be facing many enemies this season including Amai Mask and Garou.

Amai Mask is a well-known character in the manga for being extremely good-looking, as well as being very adept to musical and acting skills. He is a Rank 1, Class A Hero, and he is also strong enough to be in the S-Class ranks.

On the other hand, Garou who is described as a young man with yellow eyes and spiky hair. He is nicknamed as Human Monster according to HofMag.

Also, the possible return of Lord Boros to fight Saitama is being cooked up by the producers this second season. There were rumors that Saitama might temporarily lose his powers this season two and in a battle with Lord Boros, the latter will say that Saitama did not reach the peak of his full potential yet. But obviously, once Saitama reaches that peak of his power, Lord Boros will again be defeated.

Finally, a battle again with Genos is being reported to be part of season two. But this time, Saitama will be facing a better and stronger Genos as compared to the first season. To recall, Genos is a former ally and was a faithful disciple of Saitama.

"One Punch Man" was first released in Japan October to December of 2015. The first season is comprised of 14 full-packed episodes. It features an evil-fighting character named Saitama who is feared for his strength and the use his very powerful punch.
