South Korean talent management agency JYP Entertainment has recently revealed the comeback of KPop group TWICE this month.
In a statement released by the label company, TWICE will be returning to the entertainment stage after almost 6 months of taking a break to give out their new offering to the fans on October 24, Soompi reported. Along with their comeback is the release of their new album in which they have worked with the Black Eyed Pilseung who also created their single "Like OOH-AHH".
In September, rumors about the comeback of the band have surfaced on the news headlines. However, JYP Entertainment denied the allegations.
"We have no plans right now about the release of new music. There's also been no detailed work on music," the agency stated as quoted by All Kpop.
Meanwhile, TWICE has recently performed in the 2016 K-pop World Festival which is an annual global K-pop competition featuring K-pop cover stars. Aside from the group, other South Korean bands and artists including BTS, EXID, MONSTA X, ASTRO, TWICE, DJ Koo, and Just Jerk have also graced the show, Soompi reports.
TWICE was formed by JYP Entertainment through the reality show “Sixteen” in 2015. The group is composed of nine members namely Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, and Tzuyu.
Upon their debut in the entertainment industry, TWICE released their first album titled “The Story Begins”. In April this year, the band released their second album “Page Two” which was sold to more than 150,000 music lovers in the country.
