South Korean TV network tVn has finally revealed Gong Yoo’s still cuts for his highly anticipated TV drama series “Goblin”.

In the teaser shots released by tVn, the “Train to Busan” star appeared very composed and peaceful as he walks in a garden full of white flowers. His natural charisma also added to the tranquillity of the picture.

According to the production staff who was present during Gong’s shoot, the actor carried out remarkable acting skills despite the fact that it is his first time to star in a fantasy romance comedy film. He stated as quoted by Soompi: “Gong Yoo became immersed into the scene without any shakiness in his acting, but that doesn’t even need to be said. He was a little apprehensive about his first attempt at ‘fantasy rom-com,’ but he finished his first filming with a smile.”

“Goblin” unfolds the story of a goblin who needs a human bride to end his immortality, a grim reaper, and a strange girl. The upcoming TV drama series is written by Kim Eun Sook and directed by Lee Eung Bok.

Aside from Gong, South Korean actors including Kim Go Eun, Lee Dong Wook, and Yoo In Na are also among the cast members of the show. “Goblin” will be first aired in tVN on December 2, All Kpop reports.

Born as Gong Ji Chul, the 37-year-old star started his entertainment career 2001 after being casted in the TV drama series “School 4”. He is known for his portrayals in “The 1st Shop of Coffee Prince”, “Train to Busan”, and the recent “The Age of Shadows”.
