Bollywood's power couple Ranbir Kapoor and Katrna Kaif's relationship has allegedly come to an end. The "Fitoor" actress and the "Tamasha" actor called it quits after dating each other for six years.
On Jan. 15, 2016, one of the leading entertainment and celebrity gossip publication Pinkvilla revealed the big news. A source told the website that Ranbir Kapoor has moved out of their Carter Road flat while Katrina Kaif promoting her upcoming flick "Fitoor" in Delhi.
It is reported that the couple has been struggling with relationship issues for a long time. Also, there has been tension between them due to Ranbir Kapoor's ex-girlfriend Deepika Padukone's growing closeness with Ranbir Kapoor during the time of "Tamasha's" release.
"The two have officially parted ways. Three days back, RK moved out of their Carter Road flat with all his bag and baggage. Katrina soon flew off to Delhi to promote Fitoor. This is it for them," the source claimed. "They have tried making it work for far too long but things weren't falling in place for them. Both of them have made peace with the fact that the relationship is not headed anywhere and their differences can't be resolved. For the last few months, there has been a lot of tension between them. Ranbir's proximity with Deepika during the promotions of Tamasha didn't go down well with Katrina. And she made no pretenses in vehemently putting it across to the media. In an interview with GQ, she'd said that she hopes Ranbir's choices change as he evolves. He has never been the kind of person who can stand being bound in a relationship like that," the source added.
Another source is claiming that there was "staunch opposition from Ranbir's family" and the couple was not getting along. "With both his parents against the alliance, it just doesn't seem worth dragging it on anymore," the source alleged.
Meanwhile, DNA India claims that Ranbir Kapoor's "non-committal" nature led to the problems between the couple. It acted as last straw.
For now, Ranbir Kapoor is allegedly living with his parents after his breakup with Katrina Kaif. Fans must note that the report lacks comments or confirmation from the associated persons. Thus, the veracity of these claims remains uncertain.
