After being too obvious for the public, Hilary Duff finally admitted to the public that she and her personal trainer, Jason Walsh, are dating. The actress made the confirmation in a fashionable way, by posting a smooching photo in Instagram.
"The Younger" actress posted the photo casually, saying: "Date night with J", complete with a heart emoji. The two have been with each other's company for some time now. They were first linked in 2015 but sources close to the two denied any romance per report from E!, saying that the two are just friends and hanging out.
"He is her trainer and they hang out. They are not dating," an insider told the entertainment site in March 2015. "They hang out and they are friends." In June 2016, this later turned into "casually dating," a source revealed to E!.
There have been many paparazzi photos showing Duff and Walsh having fun together. In fact, in a Bustler report, Duff and Walsh are seen holding hands while going out on date nights. The two also attended an event for Walsh's gym which was their official red carpet moment. But it was not until Sunday that the former "Lizzie McGuire" star confirmed that they lovebirds are actually in a relationship.
This is the first time Hilary publicly acknowledged her relationship with Walsh on social media since splitting from hockey player Mike Comrie in 2014. The former couple share a 4-year-old son named Luca.
While Duff is a famous celebrity who grew up basically in front of the American household, Walsh is a celebrity trainer for other famous clients including LeBron James and Dwayne Wade. But it would be obvious that Walsh's favorite would be Lizzie McGuire.
