South Korean rapper Park Kyung of the popular boy group Block B shares his thoughts on passing the Mensa International exam on his recent guesting on tVn’s “Problematic Men”.
“During the exam, I saw a lot of problems that were similar to the ones we solved. I think if the members took the test they would pass 100%. It would be nice if we all took the test,” said Park as quoted by Soompi.
When asked why he took the exam secretly, the KPop idol revealed that he thought it would embarrass him if he would fail the test that is why he first decided to hide it from the public. He also admitted that he did not originally plan to apply to Mensa. However, because of “Problematic Men” he was inspired to pursue the assessment.
The show’s hosts were in awe of Park’s mental capacity especially when he spilled that the exam’s results showed he has an intellectual quotient of 156. Furthermore, they also expressed their commendation to Park for his job well done.
Block B announced on Oct. 4 along with their 2,000th-day celebration that Park took a qualifying IQ test for Mensa, All KPop reported. Three days later, the rapper himself shared his acceptance later from the group through his Instagram account.
Mensa is a non-profit organization which holds the world’s largest and oldest high IQ society. It is open to people who score at the 98th percentile or higher on a standardized, supervised IQ.
