Still cuts for the upcoming SBS drama "The Legend of the Blue Sea" revealed Lee Min Ho as an attorney. The drama is set to air every Wednesdays and Thursdays at starting Nov. 16.
On Oct. 25, stills for the upcoming drama "The Legend of the Blue Sea" has been revealed, showing Lee as an attorney, according to AllKpop. In the photo, Lee is wearing a suit while doing some paper works in an office set-up.
"The Legend of the Blue Sea" is inspired by a classic Joseon legend which tells the story of a fisherman who captures and releases a mermaid. The drama is a story between the son a noble family in Joseon era named Dam-lim (Lee) who fell in love with a mermaid named Shim Chung (Jun Ji-hyun).
A source from the drama further revealed that "Heo Jun Jae's (Lee) transformation into an attorney is just a taste of what's to come," Soompi cited. Stressing that Lee's appearance as an attorney is just one of his many disguises as a con artist in the drama.
In the drama, the 34-year old actress Jun Ji Hyun will play as the last mermaid on earth who later live on land. She will then cross paths with Lee and began adjusting to the city life with him.
Unfortunately, "The Legend of the Blue Sea" will be the last acting role for the 29-year old actor before rendering his mandatory military service for two years. While the drama series is a comeback for the actress Jun after giving birth to her first baby.
The filming of the drama began last Aug. 19 at Goesan in North Chungcheong Province, South Korea and move to the island of Palau in the late August. Last September, cast and crew of the drama is at Spain to continue filming.
