Hallyu actor and former MBLAQ member Lee Joon was recently featured the News 1 Korea. During the interview, the “Vampire Detective” star shares his thoughts about kissing scenes.
According to Lee, he finds kissing scenes difficult regardless the actress he is doing it with. This is because of the fact that as an actor, he has to kiss someone that has no romantic relationship involved with him.
"I try my best to end it as fast as I can. And to end it fast is to really do it. You don't know how your partner's feeling, so it's important to be considerate. For 'Heard It Through the Grapevine', I had to kiss Go Ah Sung a lot, and it made me realize that this is a sensitive job requiring consideration for the other," the actor explained as quoted by All KPop.
Lee added that as an entertainer, he has to perform very well on the first try because the second take would make it appear that he has “other personal intentions”, making it awkward with his co-star. Furthermore, he said: “You have to do it well once with sincerity."
Meanwhile, Lee has also revealed during a press conference for his new film “Luck Key” how he reacts with haters. According to the star, he is getting acting tips from the online criticisms against him.
“I gather them from the internet. I read mean comments, think, ‘Ah, so this is how I acted,’ and ponder over it,” said the actor as quoted by Soompi.
Lee is currently starring in the TV drama series “Woman Who Pulls a Carrier”. Joining him on the show are actors Choi Ji Woo, Joo Jin and Jeon Hye Bin.
