Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan has finally cleared air on actress Alia Bhatt's role in his upcoming movie "Judwa 2." The "Dishoom" star, who is playing double role in the movie, has denied reports of Bhatt's role in the "Judwa 2" as reported by the media.
Rumors mills were abuzz that the "Judwa 2" makers have finalized Bhatt as female lead opposite Dhawan for the comedy romance drama. Dismissing these rumors, Dhawan said that the leading lady of the movie is not finalized by the makers yet, Pinkvilla entertainment news portal reported. "We have not cast the actresses in Judwaa2. Sorry, I had to stop your casting party. Will announce the names soon," Dhawan wrote on his twitter account. "Judwa 2" is a sequel of Salman Khan starrer 1997 superhit comedy "Judwa." The movie, which is expected to release in the end of 2017, is directed by David Dhawan.
Dhawan and Bhatt have earlier worked together in "Student of the Year" and "Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania." The duo is currently working on their third movie together "Badrinath Ki Dulhania." Directed by Shashank Khaitan, the romance drama is slated to hit theaters on March 10 next year. Bhatt, on the other hand, is busy promoting her next film "Dear Zindagi" opposite Shahrukh Khan, Mid Day reported. It is first time the young actress will be seen working with Bollywood star. She along with Khan will soon appear on the celebrity talk show "Koffee with Karan" as a part of promotion of "Dear Zindagi."
