The arrival of Mitsuki is already anticipated since he is one of the three ninjas in Team Konohamaru. But aside from his appearance in the game, Mitsuki is a fully playable character that could mean more options for the team. According to Gematsu, the characters appearance would mean a new combo where three playable characters takes part in the attack.
The upcoming character in "Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" is very interesting because of his background. For the unfamiliar, Mitsuki is the son of Orochimaru - one of the main villains in "Naruto" and its follow-series "Naruto: Shippuden." It's also believed that his son is his creation considering he is not married and doesn't have a wife.
Aside from the upcoming expansion to the already extensive fighting game, the game is also set for a re-release according to PlayStation Lifestyle. The upcoming re-release is great news for those who are waiting to purchase this game. Aside from the original game, the re-release will feature all previously released DLCs including the upcoming expansion "Road to Boruto" featuring Mitsuki as a playable character.
