Following the global success of the zombie thriller "Train to Busan," Hallyu star Gong Yoo is heading back to television with his upcoming drama series "Goblin." The actor was recently spotted with co-star Kim Go Eun filming on location in Canada.

The photos that surfaced on the internet show Gong Yoo's and Kim Go Eun's characters meeting at a graveyard, Koreaboo reported. Very little can be said about the "Goblin" plot details at this point, considering that the cast and crew are tightlipped about the drama.

The crew of "Goblin" has praised Gong's acting performance, calling it "top notch." According to allkpop one crew member said, "Despite being nervous about his first 'fantasy rom-com,' he smiled at the end [of the first filming]."

"Goblin" is a fantasy-romance drama series that tells the story of an immortal goblin named Kim Shin (Gong Yoo) who wants to die, an amnesiac grim reaper (Lee Dong Wook) and a girl (Kim Go Eun) who's supposed to have died but claims to be the "goblin's bride." Gong Yoo's Kim Shin must find a human bride so that he can end his immortality.

In one of the teaser materials released on Oct. 13, the show features a dark and mysterious theme. The promo flashes the warning, "Turn off the lights. [Or else] he'll come," before an image of Gong Yoo shows on the screen.

The drama also stars actress Yoo In Na and BTOB member Sungjae. The star-studded drama series is written by Kim Eun Sook and produced by Lee Eung Book, both of whom worked together to create this year's critically-acclaimed Korean drama series "Descendants of the Sun." "Goblin" will premiere on Dec.2 on tvN.

Meanwhile, "Train to Busan" has earned $99 million worldwide, and has becoming the highest-grossing South Korean film in Malaysia, Hong Kong and Singapore.
